Martha Newson Studio

Experts in super loyalty.

Martha Newson Studio brings academic behavioural science into real-world decision-making. We work with organisations that need to design better research, interpret complex human behaviour, or understand what the evidence really means. We also provide expert comment and insight on belonging, loyalty, identity and social dynamics, alongside executive depth coaching for individuals and leaders navigating change.

Led by Dr Martha Newson, the Studio draws on more than 15 years of research in psychology and cognitive anthropology, bringing together specialist researchers where projects demand particular methods or expertise.

We typically work across the following areas, but if you have a project that sits outside these, drop us a line:

Quantitative research design & analysis
Designing surveys, experiments and evaluations; analysing existing evidence and data; and translating findings into clear, useful conclusions. Ethical approval obtained where required.

Qualitative research & insight
Designing and conducting interviews, focus groups and ethnographic research; identifying patterns in lived experience; and turning rich qualitative data into clear, evidence-based insight for strategy, evaluation and decision-making.

Expert insight & comment
Independent academic interpretation, specialist commentary and evidence-led advice. Media-trained academic commentary is also available when findings need to be communicated publicly.

Coaching with Martha
One-to-one coaching for leaders and high-performing individuals, particularly around identity, transition, belonging and organisational change. Limited spaces, read more here.

Keynote talks & workshops
Evidence-led talks and interactive sessions on loyalty, social dynamics, transformation, personalisation, and motivation, tailored to organisational, public-sector and conference audiences.
